                              My Family

I live with my mum, my dad and my sister. We live in a big house. My mum’s name is Sara. She’s a teacher. She’s short and slim, she’s got long, brown hair and brown eyes. My dad’s name is Hany. He’s tall and a little fat. He’s got short brown hair and blue eyes. He works in a bank. My sister Samar is 14 and she loves listening to music. She listens to music all the time. She’s got long brown hair and green eyes, like me. I’ve got long hair too. We’ve got a pet dog, Brandy. He’s black and white and very friendly.

                          My favourite hobby

I love to paint. It is my hobby. I paint with water colours. I like to  paint beautiful landscapes. When we go on holidays to different places  like hill stations, desert areas, river banks or the countryside, I always take my art material with me. I like to sit and paint a scenery  as I watch it. The painting then is very vivid and comes alive. I find  my hobby refreshing to me. I keep all my paintings carefully. I have  participated in different art exhibitions and painting competitions at school and at state level events, and won prizes too.

                       A famous sportsman

Mohamed Aboutrika was born on November 7,1978 in Giza, a suburb of Cairo, the Egyptian capital. He started playing football very early. At 12, he already joined the training center of Tersana Sporting Club, an Egyptian football club based in Giza. He will be trained before being called to the first team.

With Tersana, Aboutrika participated in many matches and scored 93 goals in 169 games. But fate not having bound him only to his training club, he leaves Tersana and signs at the beginning of the season 2003-2004 at the emblematic club of Cairo, El-Ahly.

Mohamed Aboutrika will quickly become a key element in the squad of the emblematic club of the capital. He had all the talent he needed for that. Aboutrika will win many trophies with his team both nationally and continentally: Championships, Cups and Super Cup of Egypt and CAF Champions Leagues.

In February 2012, Mohamed Aboutrika announced his retirement following the events in Port Said where many supporters of Al-Ahly were killed.

                                School rules

The  rules of the school are very simple and not difficult, they only need  to discipline ourselves. This discipline has important goals to help us  improve our behavior and our qualities such as commitment to clean  uniforms, hair cutting and nail cutting. All of these things teach us  personal hygiene that improves ourselves before being committed to the  laws.

Also  the obligation to listen to teachers and not to practice any bad  behavior disturbs the teachers is one of the things that benefit us  before they abide by the laws of the school.

We  also listen to the guidance of teachers who work to improve our  behavior and respect and all these things are very good to learn through  the school and through the laws imposed by each student.

My favourite subject

My favorite subject is English. I like English because
it is interesting and important. It is spoken all over the
world. Many people learn English to get a job. I learn
English at school. I 'm good at English. I speak English
with my teacher and my friends. I get high marks in
English. It is a useful language. I like English because
the teacher is friendly. I watch English programs on
TV. I listen to English songs. I play English game.

A day in my life

I wake up early in the morning, I take a shower and brush my teeth. After that, I eat breakfast with my family and then I get ready to leave the house going to school. I usually go early to school so that I have enough time to be ready for my classes.
After school is finished in the afternoon, I go back to the house and have lunch with my family. I take a rest for two hours and then I start finishing my homework. When I finish my homework, I usually watch T.V or play some games for couple of hours. By the time I finish, my mother will be making dinner. We eat dinner together and then I go to sleep to be ready for the next day.

I am a book lover and love to read books a lot because reading is my favourite hobby. We have got a family library in our house.
My favourite story book is Alice's Adventure in Wonderland. Alice has a lot of adventures in Wonderland. She met a lot of interesting characters in Wonderland. She met the White Rabbit which was always late. She also met the Cheshire Cat which had a big smile, at last she met the Queen of Hearts. She was always angry and shouted at people.

Internet was created by ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency  Network). The development of internet was originally funded by the U.S.  and was started in 1960s. Various scientists have developed internet protocols to set  standards about how the information should be transferred by the medium  of internet.
The World Wide Web (www) developed by Tim Berners Lee  is a platform for accessing information on the internet stored in  various websites and web pages. Various other data scientists enhanced  the working and concepts of internet by applying various principles of  science and technology. Hence, the internet has developed to a more  elaborate and advanced system than the one which was just invented in  the 60s. Further, proper and controlled research on this front can  produce fascinating results and solve many of our unsolved problems with  ease and efficiency.

It is indeed a versatile way of sharing information  over large distances. The World Wide Web is different from the internet  in all aspects. The internet connects a network of computers while the  World Wide Web was specially designed to aid the exchange of information  over the internet. Information on the WWW is stored in various websites  and web pages which can be accessed by numerous browsers available such  as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.
The technology of internet allows us to carry out several activities  such as banking, exchanging information, shopping for various goods and  more. While shopping online, we are supposed to provide our bank details  in order to make payments. For this activity, one has to be aware of  the security aspect. If a faulty browser or fake website is used to make  transactions than possibilities to cyber-crime heightens. Cyber-crime  refers to any illegal activity performed over the internet. We as a  user, have to be careful and never share sensitive information to  unauthorized people. Internet also facilitates the downloading of  various other software which protect the system from any kind of virus  and malicious software.

Tourism is of particular importance for the benefit of the country as a whole and citizens in particular, such as: Tourism is an important source of funds and increasing the national income of the country.Some countries rely mainly on tourism to provide capital and build projects in them.Providing job opportunities for residents and thus reducing the unemployment rate.The exchange of cultures and ideas between tourists and the country’s population.

The tourists coming to the country transfer their culture and developments in their country to the host citizens and thereby stimulate development and progress within the country.Tourism needs to unite the citizen’s efforts with the government to revive and increase the number of tourists who visit the country, because the tourist is an ambassador of his country and convey everything he sees inside the country to his country and expresses his feelings and impressions.

Essay on My Favourite Subject for Students and Children

As a student, everyone excels in some subjects and not in the others. Of course, there are some students who do well in all of them, but that number is low. However, almost every student has a favourite subject. It does not matter if it’s related to academics or arts.

Personally, my favorite subject is English. I have always scored well on the subject because I understand it well. It makes learning effortless and I always manage to get good marks. There are other subjects I like too but English definitely tops my list. I never get bored of it and am always ready to study it.

There are many reasons as to why I enjoy studying English. The major one is that it enhances my reading skills. Ever since my childhood, my mother has always read stories to me. So, I developed a habit of reading and listening to stories. As my reading skills get polished through English, it helps me in other subjects too. I grasp the concepts better through reading.

Furthermore, through English, I developed a knack for writing. I absolutely enjoy writing essays and articles. It is only through English, that I started writing my own work. This helps me in forming incredible answers for other subjects as well. It gives me the experience to use accurate words and sentences to convey my message better.

Most importantly, I love fictional stories in English. I love how it always has some lessons in them to learn. They also apply in real life and help me make wise decisions. The stories in English novels and plays always keeps me entertained. It also enhances my imagination powers.

English is definitely a scoring subject which makes it even more special for me. I am an average student who does not take much interest in Science. I manage to get decent marks in the subjects, but in English, I score well. When we compare English to other subjects, we see it is most scoring.

English does not demand word to word answers. It gives the child a chance to play with words. It gives them the creative liberty to speak their minds out. For instance, in Maths, you cannot create your own formulas. You must copy the same exact one taught in the syllabus. But, in English, we can compose our own answers based on our understanding and intelligence.

In addition, English teachers are usually more approachable and understanding. In other subjects, the teachers always have to stick by the book and literally make students mug up the formulas and theories. The English teacher takes time to make them understand each phrase. They allow the students to interpret it as per their intellect. This empowers the child too so they can put their own thinking in it.

In short, I absolutely love English. It gives me the chance to excel without putting too much pressure on me. I get to play with words and form my own interpretations. This helps me get the creative freedom I do not get in other subjects.
